Travel Tips:

What to Pack:

Warm Layers: Breckenridge can get cold and snowy in winter, so pack warm sweaters, a winter jacket, and insulated gloves. Don’t forget a beanie and scarf to keep toasty.
Snow Gear: Planning to hit the slopes? Bring your ski or snowboard gear, or rent it locally. A waterproof jacket and snow pants are key to staying warm and dry. Need more gear tips? Check out our winter gear rental blog.
Sun Protection: The sun can be strong at 9,000+ feet, even in winter. Make sure to pack sunscreen, SPF lip balm, and sunglasses to guard against that intense snow glare.
Hydration: The high altitude can sneak up on you—keep a reusable water bottle handy to stay hydrated.
Footwear: Insulated and waterproof boots are helpful for navigating snowy streets and trails.
