We came to town for a wedding and needed a place for three couples. The Great Escape was our choice and it was fantastic. The house and views were better than advertised! It is decorated perfectly; it is comfortable; it is roomy; and comes with every amenity needed. Visit Breck helped make the stay easy with their communication and availability. We will easily use Visit Breck again and stay at The Great Escape next time we’re in Breck!

Incredible chalet style lodging! We had 9 adults and had more than enough room. The lodge was decorated beautifully! It is conveniently located just 2 miles from town (easy drive) and only 1 mile from grocery store. Our guests enjoyed the 3 mile hiking trail right outside the door. The outdoor hot tub was perfect! Views are spectacular!

We had an outstanding vacation at The Great Escape. The house was even better than pictures. We appreciated how clean the house was upon arrival. Every little detail was thought of. The fully stocked kitchen allowed for big family dinners. Communication was excellent and easy. I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a memorable trip to Breckenridge!

Our week in Breckenridge topped our family vacations, and staying here added to the memories. The location and mountain views far exceeded our expections! We were 5 minutes from Main Street, a grocery store, and the gondola. After having fun in town, rafting and fishing, it was so nice to come back to this home just far enough away to feel secluded. The home has many extra thoughtful touches, and the kitchen had what we needed to make meals. From competitve shuffleboard matches, hanging out in the upper living room, coffee each morning on the deck, and daily visits from a fox...we would definitely stay here again. Pinnacle Lodging made checking in/out a breeze.

We loved our stay at The Great Escape! It was truly a home away from home.The space was perfect for our group of 8 adults and two small children. The kitchen and pantry were well stocked to start our stay and the kitchen was large enough for everyone to pitch in preparing meals. Two big living areas and a cozy den, all with comfortable sofas and chairs, gave us room to spread out or gather together. With 4 king bedrooms and 4 1/2 bathrooms we had plenty of privacy and the bunk room was perfect for kids. Lots of outside spaces for playing in the snow and sledding down the driveway (sleds were in the garage).Phenomenal views, quiet neighborhood and only 5 minutes from the lifts. We all agree that we would love to stay here again!

An absolutely wonderful vacation!!! The home is phenomenal by any metric. The views are spectacular and unmatched. I’ve been fortunate to travel many places across the globe but the scenery and peaceful surroundings found in this property location are unmatched. All the bedrooms have fantastic features and allows for multiple families to share in the fun. With hiking trails available right out the front door and a fairly easy hike into town makes for a wonderful place to fully enjoy the Breckinridge experience. The shuffleboard table made for many late nights of competition and laughs. The patio and grill were used on multiple occasions and the kitchen has everything you could possibly ask for. The owner’s taste is impeccable with every detail of the home. Can’t say enough about this home. Rush to book you won’t regret it.

We have traveled the world and stayed in a lot of super nice accommodations. This place was the best ever and has everything! Quick hiking distance to shopping, wildlife in the area to view, breathtaking views from the main rooms, a hot tub to soothe you at the end of the day with robes in each room. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you need to prepare meals. All-clad cookware, crockpot, top of the line appliances and very spacious so that a family can cook together. The beds were super comfy with phone chargers easily accessible and a lovely bar and game room to enjoy colder nights indoors with shuffleboard, a fireplace and Large screen TVs throughout. Perfect place for a family reunion, wedding party or just friends getting together. You really cannot ask for more than this place already offers! Loved our stay and hope to be back again soon!

We enjoyed a wonderful 5 day getaway with our friends. As a large group of 8, the space was perfect! Each couple had their own, personal bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen has plenty of space and is well equipped for a wide variety of cooking needs. The location of the house allowed for walking to town for shopping. We loved soaking in the hot tub after a day of hiking. I hope to be back very soon!

This place has absolutely everything you could want for a vacation getaway in the mountains. In addition to the obvious high end finishes throughout the house it’s also the little touches that stand out. The views are breathtaking and drinking coffee in the morning while looking at the mountains is exactly what you want. The bedrooms and bathrooms are all appointed with all the amenities. The extra touches of robes to use while making your way to the hot tub is extra special. We were visiting with 4 couples and there was so much space to spread out. We enjoyed the kitchen and cooked every meal during our entire trip. Eating dinner with the views of the mountains or cooking on the grill with the views from the deck can’t be beat. There is literally nothing you could add to make the location layout home any better. 100% recommendation and we have stayed at many other places in Colorado. Definitely the nicest one I’ve ever seen.

Based on the pictures, we knew we were staying at a beautiful place. However, we didn’t expect every detail to be over the top spectacular. No expense was spared on all the provisions. Everywhere you look was another unexpected upgrade. The views are incredible from the rooms, dining room, living areas, decks, hot tub, and outdoor areas. The place was extremely clean upon arrival. Simple and unexpected amenities were provided. It appeared as though they thought of everything we would need. We took advantage of every offering there. Our stay could not have been better. WE WILL BE BACK!!!

Magnificent views. The fabulous kitchen had lots of appliances/utensils for preparing meals. Cozy nooks for reading or watching tv. Nearby walking trails with stunning views. Amazing hot tub and patio areas. I had a very relaxing time reading and admiring God’s handiwork. I want to return. Wonderful getaway.

Everything you could ask for and more. We had three families with little kids and never felt like we were on top of each other. The house comes with every amenity you could imagine (sleds, ski boot dryer, every kitchen appliance, tv’s and home audio everywhere, shuffleboard etc.). The property management group was incredible. We can’t wait to come back next year!

Overall we loved the house. We had plenty of room to spread out. It was stocked with everything we needed. Close to town. The driveway is steep so you definitely need a 4WD or AWD or chains to get in and out. The only negative thing was the fireplace in the living room didn’t work and even though we reported it no one came to fix it while we were there. It didn’t ruin the trip for us or our experience. It just would have been nice to have it on while in the living room at night. I would book it again!

This is a beautiful home. Nothing beats waking up to the views this place has. The kitchen has everything you need. The bed was extremely comfortable and the jet shower and jacuzzi felt great after a day on the mountain. Customer service is very responsive. The location is great as it is minutes away from the mountain, food, and shopping. I would be more than happy to stay in this place again. I took one star off for cleanliness. The floor and the bathroom sink I was using needed attention. Other than those two areas the house was spotless and very well maintained

We had some problem with the wine cooler. A person was sent out to investigate, and as you would guess, the alarm didn't go off while they were there. This was one of the most beautiful lodges we have ever stayed in. The view was spectacular. And just a few minutes from downtown Breckenridge and the slopes. It was large enough for 2 families. It was equipped with everything we could have possibly needed. The large moose that wondered into our back yard the last day was the perfect end to a great vacation.
