LOCATION – Rubywood sits above the picturesque town of Breckenridge on Baldy Mountain where endless activities abound from this beautiful location. Not only can you enjoy world-class downhill skiing, Nordic skiing and snowshoeing in the winter but you are steps away from endless miles of hiking and biking trails in the summer. The Breckenridge Free Ride shuttle stop is located only 0.2 miles away on Baldy Road.

All Pinnacle properties are stocked with:
• High-end bed linens and towels.
• Kitchens - cookware, bakeware, dishes, glasses, utensils and standard small appliances.
An initial supply of:
• Paper Products (paper towels, toilet paper, tissues)
• Bathroom Toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap)
• Detergents (dish, dishwasher and laundry)

Special Notes:

Rubywood was a beautiful home. The views are unbeatable. We saw a chipmunks, birds, deer, elk, and a moose. So amazing. The house was stocked with everything we needed. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend Rubywood to our friends and family. Everytime I texted with a question they were patient and kind with the responses (that I could have found myself in an email)

From easy checkin and great location, to ski mountain views and a fox, deer, and funny squirrels and chipmunks, Rubywood has it all! Great movie room for the 1 rainy day in Breck and easy access to Baldy Trail and Boreas Pass. We had a phenomenal time with 3 couples with 5 additional beds which we never used. Only minor downside was mattresses in guest en suites weren’t great, but the rental company was very responsive and helpful. We all were sad to leave!

This home is absolutely beautiful and can accommodate a large group. There were a few minor things we couldn’t get to work but the group was very responsive and helpful. Would 100% recommend this home and would love to stay again

Overall we were very happy with our stay!
Setting is on a mountain top with a spectacular view!
Cabin is very nice and has ample views of the mountains, along with nice furniture and huge bedrooms and lots of bathrooms.A very rustic feel that perfectly accents the mountains.

However there are a few negative things that are worth mentioning.
First of all you will need to bring your own personal items such as soap, shampoo, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent. You are given a small amount to start but no where near enough to last the 5 days we were there.
My thoughts are the price you pay for the unit there should be enough to last! All the items I mentioned are probably less than 20 bucks but I guess it’s the principle of the thing!
Probably the biggest negative thing is the layout of the house as the main areas are downstairs and there are a lot of stairs! To be exact 19 steps down and 19 up! Yup that’s 38 steps!
For younger folks that might not matter as much but when you factor in the altitude it’s quite a workout!
Overall I was pretty happy with everything, we received daily texts to make sure everything was going well and seemed genuinely concerned.

The property description was spot on, clean and well maintained. We had a couple of simple questions that were answered immediately. Hiking and biking trails so close to the property. Would definitely stay again.

Rubywood is an incredible house! We could have sat on the back patio looking at that view for days. This was a perfect house for our family reunion. Plenty of bed space, a fabulous movie theater, gigantic well-equipped kitchen, and hiking trails right out the door! We didn't want to leave. Plus, Breckenridge is such a charming town. We will definitely book again at Rubywood. :)

We were lucky to stay with family at Rubywood. The house is super comfortable, has everything you need for a special visit and the scenery is stunning. We will certainly go back.

This was the perfect house and location for our family reunion. We comfortably slept 13 people in Rubywood, as it is called, including 4 kids and 4 couples (the Theater acts as an extra bedroom with two queen beds). There cannot be a more beautiful front veranda view of Breckenridge Mountain in all of the town. While this isn't at all a "ski in, ski out" property, it is exceptionally quiet, surrounded by nature, and the perfect place for us to get away. We will be back!

Rubywood - Beautiful home just 5 minutes from downtown Breckenridge. We had a great time. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you could need and the bedrooms are cozy. Perfect for 3 couples!

Rubywood in Breckenridge is truly Amazing! I had the opportunity to host a retreat and the accommodations could not have been more perfect inside and out. We enjoyed hiking, mountain biking and evenings on the back patio watching the sunset over the Rocky Mountains, can't wait to go back!

Eight friends recently enjoyed time at the gorgeous Rubywood home at 97 Mary’s Ridge Lane in Breckenridge, part of your vacation rental service. We were treated to colorful aspens as we drove the few minutes from town to the home. Then, Wow! This grande home is stunning! Once inside, the oohs and aahs were heard from each space. All details, the kitchen, the bedrooms and baths, the common areas, have been addressed for comfort and convenience. The quiet outdoor area at the back of the home, with the pond and direct view of the ski runs, is peaceful and private, apart from sharing space with the occasional moose, elk or fox. It is a five-star fantastic place.

Wonderful. The house was fantastic with beautiful views and ample space. The kitchen was fantastic and the heart of the house. We loved the fireplace and the big dining room table. The bedrooms were great size and the en suites attached to each was very convenient.

As for downsides, generally speaking not much. You need to make sure you’re sending the correct codes to the guests. We had issues getting in the front door because we were sent the wrong code. There was also a lock with a code on the hot tub and no code for it in the instruction sheets. And again there was a code needed to download an app on the tv so we could watch a football game on a channel that wasnt available through regular cable, but that code wasn’t listed anywhere, either. All that stuff should be better managed/anticipated.

The layout was slightly awkward with the entry floor housing the bedrooms and the kitchen/main floor being “downstairs”. That could be clearer in the description/photos.

The kitchen has clearly had an update with appliances and it was beautiful. Feels like some other areas could use a similar updating. The cowhide chairs in the great room were very worn, the coffee table was falling apart, and the tv in that room undersized and dated.

All in all very lovely home and we enjoyed our stay immensely!

We LOVED our stay at Rubywood! There was plenty of room for our three families. We loved out stay at the Rubywood. The home was so well equipped and capable to host a large group. We loved the views from the back of the house and enjoyed watched movies in the theatre room amongst other things. You will not be able to reach this home without 4-wheel drive.

Our group of 8 had a fantastic stay at Rubywood! Very spacious, well-appointed and beautiful craftsmanship. It's a short drive from town (about 8-10 minutes) but the view and privacy is totally worth it. Would definitely stay again!
